How I got here…
I grew up in southern Germany in a loving but not at all career-focused family. Early on, I developed my own mantra for success “I always do my best.” That way, I couldn’t fail. Because what else could I have done?
This mantra, mixed with German work attitude and a love for human connections first brought me to marketing, then to being a leader, and ultimately to become a holistic career coach to maximize my impact in the world.
Where I come from
I grew up in an unconventional environment, with a spiritual and loving mother, an adventurous and fun father and the best brother I could have wished for.
As a child, I was courageous, funny, and nerve-wrecking. Always looking for trouble and defining my own reality.
In teenage years, I started to take school very seriously, became a dedicated learner and started to apply my mantra (see right).
My journey
Already early on I developed a deep interest in cultures and people, which led me to studying International Business in my Bachelor’s degree and International Marketing in my Master’s.
After that, I was ready to conquer the working world and to get all there was: Titles, money to buy my own stuff, recognition and the feeling of being successful.
The turning point
My relatively rapid rise to management positions had advantages and disadvantages. The advantage was that my self-esteem and confidence skyrocketed. The disadvantage was that I was confronted with manipulation and power struggles early on, which I wasn’t mentally ready for.
In this time, I was fortunate to discover tactics and strategies to stay sane mentally and physically. These are both conventional business strategies, subconscious reprogramming techniques as well as spiritual add-ons such as meditation, yoga and personal development tools.
My mission
Learning many strategies and tactics the hard way, I started talking with colleagues and friends about these topics, only to learn that they have not done the same research I did and were on very different tracks for their lives.
This made me think: What if I taught people the strategies and tactics that worked for me and thousands of people worldwide? What impact could I have on the lives of high-performers around the globe?
And that’s how Corporate Warriors was born.
